Varcarme Computers Limited was established in 1984 to meet the growing need of PC awareness for the new user and existing mainframe user now moving to the more economic arena of networked PC’s.

The intention was to provide “ a one stop shop” for the discerning user needing hardware and / or software solutions to their problem.

This goal required a detailed knowledge of PC programming languages, technical hardware awareness and experience of standard and bespoke business practices.

The “mix” of original personnel ensured the objective by grouping experienced mainframe managers with progressive PC programming staff.

Continued growth was a result of providing quality, affordable solutions backed up by an excellent support service. Additional software and hardware staff was inevitable and because of our insistence on a quality bespoke product, the company decided to move into manufacturing it’s own range of personal computers.

Maintaining high level support in our general packages and developing our particular expertise in the document image-processing arena of information technology has ensured on-going success.

This ever-growing need of the user to achieve and subsequently retrieve information in a dynamic manner is becoming a legal and administrative “must” with Varcarme being a front runner in this pioneering data processing activity.

Connections with other major software developers such as Sage, QBS and Oasis has ensured we maintain our serious commitment to the computer user and plans for the future will secure our position in the ever moving I.T marketplace.

More recently we have been actively involved in providing WEB based solutions for our existing client base. Whether this be in the form of static Web pages or interactive online facilities to provide seamless data handling and integration into legacy based systems.
